Self Portraits!

Hello Folks!

As you know, I spent some time at home during the holidays due to an injury.
I suddenly felt a creative impulse and went with it.
This new series of self portraits has a theme: Contrasts.
See for yourselves and comment, hope you like it!

Skis, Sleds and Broken Backs!

Hi again people!
Here comes the first actual post on my new, shining, sparkling and reedited blog!
This post is a follow up on the latest post on my former blog, which you can all by the way, not see.
The post ended: "Can't wait to hit that powder!", of course referring to the three feet of new powdery snow I expected.

As it turned out, I didn't hit any powder, but I did hit ice and I hit it hard!
I wasn't even skiing. Though skiing since I was three years old, my first actual accident was on a sled.
My family and I, due to poor weather, decided to take a brake form the skis, and drove to a nearby skiing resort, which had a special made sled track.

When I say sled, I mean sled. As in a good, old-fashioned wooden sled, only with a few modern upgrades such as a soft plastic seat. As it turned out, these things can go fast as hell, and my family and I were enjoying our selves for a good couple hours. The only thing was that for every time we took the track, which were by the way a good 2 miles long, the track got more and more icy, making it incredibly difficult to control the speed of your sled.

Laying on our backs on each of our sleds, my brother and I were going down the hill at a good 30-40 miles per hour. All of a sudden my brother crashed and fell off his sled, only 5 meters away from me. Not wanting to hit him, I forced my sled past him, and before I could react I flew off the track and into the side of the mountain.

I completely panicked and the deep pain in my back made me think I broke it.
It was all very dramatic, but luckily the pain wore off and now, here I am sitting on the couch with an aching back, waiting for my still skiing family to return.
Thats right - gimme pity!

Thats all folks, I'm out.
Frederik Middelboe.

With new times, comes new designs.

Hey everybody.

As you can probably see, my blog as been completely redone. A big thanks to Emil Petersson for his help in this matter. His blog is on my blogroll in the bottom right corner.
Unfortunately this reediting of my blog also meant that all former posts has been deleted. :(
It is new times for Imago Photos and during the next weeks I'll continue to edit my blog, to make it more enjoyable for you all.

Instead of  posting the pictures here, i will either make small slideshows or create a separate page, next to the "Contact" page, called "Photography" or what ever.
Right now I am in Austria, skiing and I'm unable to post any photos as I do not have my computer with me.
I believe that all former posted photos will be reposted during the next couple of weeks.
This means that I have a lot of work to do, and I might as well get started already.
For those who are wondering why I'm not skiing at this exact moment, see the upcoming post: Skiis, Sleds and Broken Backs.

Peace!
Frederik Middelboe
